What We Do
Mercer County Resource Center is a community center to assist ex-offenders with the difficult task of re-entering society.
Our services and programs are designed to create greater stability, self-sufficiency, and positive family/community engagement.
Our Case Managers are dedicated to providing one-on-one supportive case management and linkages to community resources.
Services are client-centered and based on stated needs.
Clients are always welcome to come back and receive follow-up case management.
Services are available to residents throughout Mercer County.
Services
Client ID
Provision of Mercer County Resource Center client identification card. This ID is NOT State or County affiliated.
Mailboxes
Mercer County Resource Center may be used as a mailing address to receive non-commercial mail only.
Telephone Use and Message Center
- Phone line access
- Receive messages related to housing, job searches, and other business.
Birth Certificate Request
Mercer County Resource Center will pay the fee to obtain a copy of a birth certificate upon request (in the United States, including US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico).

Job Training
- Warehouse and Forklift certification

Housing Listings
- Weekly housing list
Transportation Assistance

- Clothing vouchers for business clothes needed for seeking or maintaining employment.

Volunteering Opportunities
NJAC’s programs are ll in need of your support. Our Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault programs are dependent on volunteer participation and we offer regularly scheduled training opportunities.
Financial contributions, as well as product donations, are always welcome. Whether you are able to give of your time or resources, this is a place for you at NJAC.
