Residential Assistant
$17 an hour - Camden County Domestic Violence Venter (CCDVC) is interviewing for full-time, part-time and per diem Residential Assistants. Residential Assistants staff the shelter 24-hours each day, in three shifts, and their job is primarily to ensure the security and safety of the shelter and its residents. The primary accountabilities of this position are (1) provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referrals to individuals calling the 24-hour domestic violence assault hotline, (2) complete telephone screenings/intakes for individuals seeking access to the Emergency Safe House (3) carry out shelter guidelines and schedules and assist clients as needed.
Residential Assistant
Passaic County Domestic and Sexual Violence Venter (PCDSVC) is interviewing for staff that are required for shelter each day, in three shifts, and their job is primarily to ensure the security and safety of the shelter and its residents. The primary accountabilities of this position are (1) provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referrals to individuals calling the 24-hour domestic violence and sexual assault hotline, (2) complete telephone screenings/intakes for individuals seeking access to the Emergency Safe House (3) carry out shelter guidelines and schedules and assist clients as needed.
Facility Monitor/Driver
Full Time/Part Time - $15 an hour - 4pm-12am or 12am-8am Shifts, Full Time, Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays. Residential program for adult residents which are state inmates classified to a work release/substance abuse/special needs program. Facility monitors are accountable to carry out assigned duties relating to the security of the residence and residents while following established protocols and procedures approved by NJAC and the NJ Department of Corrections.
Facility Monitor
Part Time - Supervise the residence, its residents and program activities during the evenings and weekends and as required by supervisor. Implement appropriate security procedures. Document all phone and resident contacts and make appropriate entries in correct logs to insure continuation of services. Assume responsibility for residence in absence of full-time staff. Assess and meet physical needs of residents. Monitor front door, medicine, and supplies. Provide informal counseling to residents as required. Notify appropriate on call staff person in emergency situations.
